You know, I don't think I realized (despite the "-itis") that it's just inflammation, and can have various causes. Dur.
You had a brain fart of love.
God DAMN, he's fucking lucky it hasn't progressed to cirrhosis.
Yeah, that was basically my reaction.
Wow, Steph. This is really a whirlwind, but an amazing whirlwind. It's none of it easy, but thank dog he has such momentum (and support--always support).
The hospital he's in really does allow dogs to visit, so his wife is taking their dog tomorrow. That's pretty cool.
I bet they have terrific recovery records, as a result.
How wonderful. And what great news about his care and results.
If, god forbid, someone has to have such a crisis, it seems Bro-of-Tep did it right.
Teppy, I'm glad to hear that he has been admitted, and is settled in. And that they allow the dog to visit - that's just so . . . civilized.
Connie, lots of heart ~ma to your DH.
My daughter is sick, again, so I won't be going to work, again, tomorrow. I have to travel for work this weekend, so here's crossing my fingers that I don't get it.
My mother has literally doused me with Lysol to keep me from getting her germs.
UCLA Westwood has dogs sometimes, and the last time they did have one, they brought it by for the orderly that was standing outside my room, and didn't actually bring it in to me, the patient. It was kind of strange.
Well, she could have been psychic. It's not like I am the type to realise a benefit.
Best news under bad circumstances. And I am going to guess that the dog visiting is just what he needs.
And heart mA~ to your dh , Connie
Steph, I'm so glad. Pulling for him, and all of you. And dog can only help.
Yikes, Tep, I'm glad he got into the hospital and is getting treated.
Tell him, even Tom Waits gave up drinking. Back in 1993 when his last child was born.
aside to bonny: I think that L. is going to give you flyers, so if you haven't already, check in with her. I really appreciate you helping her out, since I don't know how to thank her for doing what she's doing for us.
