Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, my pliers were in my pocket, too.

I definitely have the joints/period thing too, but I never made the connection until you guys.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

smonster, sounds like bubble and squeek to me, also sounds nom.

I made steak! It was cheap (well for steak anyway) and tasty and I haven't had beef in a few weeks, so it was nom too.

I have no idea what bubble and squeak is supposed to be, but that sounds pretty yum. I think I'm mostly jealous of Vortex's chinese food right now.

Though I did have a shot of Fernet earlier tonight, and thought of many of y'all (and juliana!).

Yay lawyer for Nora! And I would totally hairpat smonster.

Tonight I was at the dyke bar for my friend's birthday, and talking to someone's date, and mentioned I was from Indiana, and she was all "There are other people here from Indiana!" and introduced me to random folks sitting at the bar that she had been chatting up...turns out they are not only from my home state, but went to my high school! They graduated about seven years before me, so we didn't know anyone in common, but remembered a few teachers. And the guy had actually grown up about six blocks away from me! So crazy--they're a straight couple who had just moved here from Miami, and have kids (I'm thinking possibly grown kids, though they didn't seem that old). They said they had smoked up and then walked all the way to the bar from their house, which was about five miles. They were going to take the bus home. It was hilarious!

Our wings are not tired.

Bubble and squeak is totally new to me. Woo! Learned something new already today.

Small world, meara. How fun.

I'm feeling old since I don't even remember if I had joint issues when I had a menstrual cycle. Huh. Seriously folks, not even one day for one moment have I missed it. Yay menopause!

Focus on work today and play tomorrow.

Art Crawl!!!

I've been having sore knees this week too. Can I also blame the Super Moon?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Totally!! The anecdata proves it!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

This is me, punking out on our community street clean up this morning. Even the prospect of free breakfast didn't get me out of bed on time. Boo me.

I am trying to motivate to go to the farmer's market. I went to Doggies and Donuts, but now I'm so sleepy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Supermoon's fault I couldn't make it to a two-hour yoga class I wanted to go to this morning. Actually, I blame the fig newtons; I woke up at 8 am with horrible stomach cramps, and sweat was POURING off me...and that's all the detail I'll subject you to.

It was painful and unpleasant. I stripped off, still sweating bullets, and lay in bed with a wet washcloth over my eye. Dan got me up, but my stomach is still twitchy enough, though it doesn't HURT any more, that a 2 hour yoga class could easily be accidentally quite embarrassing.

Plus my in-laws are in town. Without telling us. I like them and am happy to see them, but they want to have dinner with us, of course, but today is a rather full day and we had to juggle wildly to jigger our schedule for. Plus, I sent his mom flowers on Friday for Mother's Day, and I would have scheduled them differently if I had know she would be here!
