Erin, I don't *know* that they're talking about me. I could just be paranoid - it's fairly likely that I am. They also know that I understand some things, and that I'd like to learn more. But thank you! I will keep that phrase handy.

Patience ~ma, omnis! The two most confusing and unnecessarily complicated things in the world are buying a house (especially the first time) and figuring out insurance.

Ha, and because it's a condo, in order to buy it, the HOA has to have insurance (which it looks like they have), but it just makes it more funny what you said.

Vocational schools for the deaf used to teach printing, which made a certain amount of sense because you couldn't hear when the presses were running. The first newspaper I worked on had quite a few deaf workers in printing and composing, and the other guys picked up quite a bit of sign language. When I had to take copy up to the print shop or do last-minute proofing, the minute I stepped on the floor, the guys would start pointing at me and signing.

We put together the metal shelves we bought for our closets tonight, so one more accomplishment for the day. Maybe tomorrow we can actually start unpacking some of our kitchen stuff.

My closet is clean, I did 3 loads of laundry, made dinner, did a Target run, worked on a work project and decoupaged a light switch for my newly painted hallway.

And I just exfoliated and applied a 2nd round of self tanner, painted my toes Rock Star Pink (Sally Hanson) and my fingernails Red Carpet, a glittery blood-red. Jilli would approve, I think.

clearly I need to hang out with Erin & SJ, in the hopes some of this productivity will rub off on me.

Ha. This comes after two weeks of being horribly non-productive in every way, o_a.
