smonster, when my mom used to get panic attacks, her therapist told her to take a swig of lemon juice, or a big bite of lemon. (Doesn't work for me, since I loooove lemon) but it focuses the body on "ARRRGHHHH! TARRRRRTT!" rather than ARGGH PANIC.
She used to keep a little squeezy lemon in her purse for a long time.
Yeah, my DH's biggest client hasn't paid him since January. Sucks.
Erin,
man, that sounds like great advice. I think I'm going to try it.
Home from dealership. Shuttle took forever, but driver was cool. Now, it's a waiting game. I feel nakie with no car at my disposal.
Worked for mom for years! Hope it helps you out, le_nubian.
Pix, ND don't know if the following is possible in this economy but: years ago there used to be businesses who would buy slow pay accounts receivables at a discount. Not collection agencies, but more people who could afford to wait for their money. In those days they expected a ten to 20 percent discount, and since they normally collected in 120 days or fewer that is like a 40% to 60% annual return for them. But because they were not collection agencies they did not alienate customers with collection agency type tactics unless they got really behind - like more than 4 months behind.
Again, this is a whole different economy than when I used these services, so I don't know if they still exist, but if it sounds worthwhile you could investigate.
Ryan is irresistible internationally.
Also, why must my cat choose to stand on my sore boob?
Erin,
it's the kind of thing that happens to me rarely - otherwise, I probably would speak to a doctor about it, but when it does, I need a jolt to the system.
Package mailed. Thor acquired via Redbox. $63 spent at Walmart. Back home, took some Tylenol with codeine, and now I'm going to slounge in bed and watch Thor and eat Nerds.
Also, why must my cat choose to stand on my sore boob?
He's massaging it? Trying to make it feel better. Just be happy he's claws in.
ION- Just heard from dealership. Not difficult. Not cheap. Catalytic converter, and the Hybrid water pump (apparently my car has 2 of them, and the more expensive one blew). All should be good with $2300. And that's why the credit card was paid off. Ugg. Well, it's not the down payment for the condo, but there goes thoughts of remodeling the kitchen (if I get the place). I really hope the appliances come with the joint. Ooof.
