Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, Laura, ick! But glad they're all OK.
Smonster, another site to maybe try is "Simply Be"? I randomly got a catalog for it the other day--it's sizes 10-28, and they had a whole section of swimsuits/bikini tops that would not fit me.
I am EXHAUSTED--did the 5K this morning (new personal best!) and then drove up to the Tulip Festival with roomie and a friend. Good to see the friend, but now my legs are DONE.
And now, gotta go to work. The next 24 hours will royally suck. Working until 2am loading out a show tonight, then getting in at 9:30 tomorrow to install the next show. Thanks to the faculty who took control of booking the new performance space, and not understanding it takes time to load out and load in a show. Especially when your labor force are students, who have classes, and homework.
I think I got Smonsters case of "don't wanna's".
Sorry to hear about that bad schedule omnis, that's just a load of no fun.
omnis, didn't mean to pass that on! Sounds like no fun whatsoever.
Now I'm having a glass of wine and a smoke on the front porch, and then bed.
meara, thanks! I sent her a bunch of links and she actually bought one, I think it was on Fig Leaves after all! Girl cannot use search filters to save her life, I swear. I may have found a bikini top for myself there.
eta no fun xpost!
Lots of things I should respond to, but right now I only have time to say: my little traveling boy is three years old today!
happy birthday to the way too big boy Ryan
Omnis -- so sorry your sister is being selfish. I think I am the selfish one in my family - yet I do respond to the wake up - and pay attention better than she does ( but yes I do have to be reminded that I like my family way too often)
Laura I am glad everyone seems ok - hope things are better than things seem at first
and just sending out the peace. I think I found a little peace this week end so I am sharing
my little traveling boy is three years old today!
Whee! Happy Birthday, Ryan! You sure got yourself a good family, and an excellent collection of sweater vests.
3! It doesn't seem possible. Your little boy's adventures have brought smiles round the world. Well done.
4 hours later the tow truck finally has arrived. Bobby got a ride to the house to pick up his car to follow to the body shop and bring Dad home. It will be after midnight before they get here. The one and only bright spot today was that my son bought me a lovely necklace and earrings in Chicago. Didn't bring back anything for anyone else. Just his mommy.
Three? That's unpossible! I will grudgingly admit that Ryan may possibly be two, but only with the caveat that his twoness happened, like, three weeks ago at most.
That, however, is no reason not to wish him an incredibly, deliciously happy birthday! Such a sweet smart loving boy deserves happy birthdays aplenty, replete with treats and hugs and kisses in absurd abundance.
Oh, lordy, I just sent a reply to a guy on a dating site. I must be feverish, or drunk or something. I better go to bed.
