Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But, I'm just so glad that it did!

So say we all. You looked truly beautiful, Val. And so happy.

Oh, thanks, Hec. I really, really am.

I just posted a link to a PDF of the program in Natter. And I just got to watch the part of the video with Cooper and his Mama going over the program. That was kind of priceless!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

He was so adorable during that bit! He kinda stole the show. There's a moment where I think someone off camera is telling him he's on camera and he says, but I want to! I think! And then he goes over the program for us!

That was his mom, my SIL, who was the event producer and florist extraordinaire, as well as bridesmaid and singer! She was just all over my wedding, in all the best ways!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I haven't seen the feed yet, but I wonder if it could do justice to how gorgeous vw looked. Mr bug is a perfect choice.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, vw! You looked so happy and so pretty! Congratulations to you and the lucky Mr. Bug!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Today I am cranky and have a bad case of the don't wannas. I need to go do a ton of laundry, and I just want to nap and sulk for no particular reason.

The Jazz Fest Ick.

Congrats, vw! Looks like it was wonderful. So happy for you!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

vw bug, so happy for you! It was fun to watch.

The Jazz Fest Ick.

Huh. That's a thing? Makes sense, I guess. It was four hours of total sensory overwhelm. I saw my boss today, and he said he's been to a lot of Jazzfests and never seen it so crowded. I took a 20-min nap that turned into a 1.5-hr nap. It ended when my sister called, and I just got off the phone with her, so I *still* haven't gone to do laundry. I have to, though, because I am completely out of work clothes and almost out of underwear, and am supposed to maybe see StW this evening.

Speaking of my sister, she's looking for a very suuportive bra-sized swimsuit - she's a 36DDD and a size 10 or 12. She's looked on Bare Necessities and Fig Leaves and Lands End, and I sent her to lindasonline and biggerbras.com... any other recs from the busty Buffista Bitches?

It's definitely a thing that I've experienced and commiserated with co-workers with on both Mondays after Festing.

Sorry about your laundry issues- I'd invite you over to do it here, but Tom's brewing, and that takes up the entire back of the house.

Naw, it's good. I'm just being lazy. At this point I have so much, it's better to go to the laundromat and get it all done at once.
