I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sj, as your nephew grows, make sure his parents understand they need to find a cardiologist who specializes in congenital heart defects. This is really important

Two things worry me. One I wish they hadn't moved out of this area because I'm biased in thinking that Boston Children's really is one of the best places for him if he needs another surgery. Secondly, I worry that as he gets into his teens and twenties and his parents have less control over how he takes of himself, that he won't take the risks seriously.

Punishingly Intricate

I ended up crying during yoga yesterday—confluence of results and emotions and music and words spoken by the person who led the class. Kind of embarrassing.

I've cried during yoga a number of times. Sometimes it's about being in that meditative space or sometimes it's what the instructor is saying that triggers a reaction. Please don't be embarrassed!

Thinking of you. Hope we can get together sometime soon.

That's happened to me a lot, in yoga. After my grandma died last year, I would just cry and cry while moving through the poses. I think it's a physical letting go and relaxation that causes some pent up emotional stuff to flow out.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Steph and meara, it's good to have my suspicions confirmed. I guess I'll be going easy on the coffee for the next little while.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hey I have a question for our pharma buffista. I am now taking Advair and I was wondering if there's anything in there that could make me feel a bit speedy?

Oh, hell yes. I totally take mine in the mornings. And switch to tea (less caffeine, easier to drink just the planned one or two cups and then I can switch to decaf and not pout) when things are bad enough I have to take Sudafed too. Which is, you know, Spring. And some of Summer. And Fall. Also Winter.

The cable we had installed this morning is not working so we have to have the cable company come back on Sunday morning now. On the plus side we have invited ourselves over to Victor and thessaly's for Fringe tonight. Have I mentioned today yay for good friends?

Our wings are not tired

Any lawyer type Buffista want to send a letter to VK's lawyer? He's trying to only pay a partial amount of an invoice for services already rendered. He had his lawyer send me the letter and I'm not really willing to back off just because he thinks I will if I get something from a lawyer. I also figure even if I just push back a bit the extra fees he will have to pay his lawyer will easily surpass the amount he's trying to get out of paying me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Damn, VK, that's cold.
