Hey I have a question for our pharma buffista. I am now taking Advair and I was wondering if there's anything in there that could make me feel a bit speedy?
Oh, hell yes. I totally take mine in the mornings. And switch to tea (less caffeine, easier to drink just the planned one or two cups and then I can switch to decaf and not pout) when things are bad enough I have to take Sudafed too. Which is, you know, Spring. And some of Summer. And Fall. Also Winter.
The cable we had installed this morning is not working so we have to have the cable company come back on Sunday morning now. On the plus side we have invited ourselves over to Victor and thessaly's for Fringe tonight. Have I mentioned today yay for good friends?
Maria, I am glad you have answers. I am sorry that you needed them but glad you have answers.
Any lawyer type Buffista want to send a letter to VK's lawyer? He's trying to only pay a partial amount of an invoice for services already rendered. He had his lawyer send me the letter and I'm not really willing to back off just because he thinks I will if I get something from a lawyer. I also figure even if I just push back a bit the extra fees he will have to pay his lawyer will easily surpass the amount he's trying to get out of paying me.
I ended up crying during yoga yesterday—confluence of results and emotions and music and words spoken by the person who led the class. Kind of embarrassing.
Oh my. I totally feel for you. There must be something in the air.
I cried in public yesterday...just a series of well intentioned, yet painful comments, paired with physical strain and frustration. Result: embarrassing tears.
Bless your heart. I'm wishing you peace.
I just read in EW about his one-man Mark Twain show. Wacky.
Val Kilmer being a jerk? I want to say I'm surprised by that, but I don't think I am.
He's one of those celebrities I always want to think well of and then see him in an interview and realize I can't.
I blame "Real Genius."
I vote push back, ND. Is there a Buffista who could lawyer up on his lawyer? Or at least be cc'd on your pushback letter? The one time I had to send a polite "please pay me what you fucking owe me, weasels" letter, IIRC Suela and one of my dad's golf buddies both agreed to be cc'd -- they didn't even have to do anything but sit there at the bottom of my polite letter flashing their "Esq."s.
If there's any kind of governing or regulatory or union board you could also cc that might make him concerned about his ability to successfully mount a one-man show again anytime soon, that probably wouldn't hurt.
