Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Meanwhile, we're going to sleep on our brand new memory foam mattress tonight in our new house!
Because it bears repeating, because it's so awesome!!!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats on the move, sj!

Gronk. The cable guy is here and there are still more thing to get from our old apartment when he leaves. At least we slept well on the new mattress. Also there is no one screaming drunken profanities upstairs because there is no upstairs!

All buffistas should also know that we also have a guest room with a real bed in it should anyone want to visit.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for no screaming drunks in your attic!

The thing is, I went so far as to get a tattoo last year to remind me to lighten up. I realized that I was too serious and wanted to bring more jovial and loving energy into my life. The very next week, Bartleby started dying.

After Daniel came to visit us, while we discussing me moving up here, I shelled out the cash to consult an animal communicator. (I wanted to make sure that the cats were ok with moving, and how to make it as easy on them as possible, among other things.)

One of the things Harvey had her say to me was that he was aware that this move was a big life change for me, and that he hoped it would help me see the lighter side of life. He said life is really pretty silly, and he wished he could laugh - especially at Sammie, who gets so wound up with tension, she just goes Boing! and releases it in running around the house.

I wonder if Cagney has something similar to teach you. But I also know that making the decision to keep working with him is not one you take lightly, because you want the best both for him and for you. So I'm sending you the best vibes, and Harvey sends his purr (he just jumped up into my lap and started purring), for knowing definitively what that is - so that whatever decision you make, you make with confidence. And if Cagney is meant for another family, that you will both know it, when they show themselves.

True to smonsters video post last night, nothing is going smoothly today and will cost us more money.

If it makes you feel any better, no amount of planning would have alleviated this moving truth. Hope the day gets better!

You're right, Nora. It's just a matter of it being an older house and the cable not being where we want it to be.

Nora, that's part of the problem too. The phone jacks aren't hooked up to anything, the modem is too old for the new internet, etc.
