Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

We have a black kitty named Seamus!

It's a good kitty name. His full name is Seamus Dean. Our last name is Martin. So, that just kinda works.

Mickey was black, so when I picked Seamus, I picked a cat that wasn't very much on purpose. I needed that separation.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sounds like he's doing that already, Bonny.

Ann, that's a ferret.

We have a black kitty named Seamus!

It's a good kitty name.

Oh, yes. We have a big orange boy named Seamus O'Malley.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, amyth. Maybe there's something on the last batch of air filters the landlord distributed. I hope you feel better soon.

Compassionately intolerant

Seamus is one of my all-time favorite names.

I also love the idea of naming a kitty after a Rat Packer. See: the aforementioned 1940s hoofer.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sj, this guy feels your moving pain. In profanity-laden (but bleeped), English-accented, funny rant. [link]

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Smonster, that is hysterical and not only because TCG is currently searching for the bluray player and the tooth brushes. Thanks for posting it!

We finished with the movers, had a yummy Thai dinner with Mom and stepdad, and then went back to our apartment for some odds and ends. Tomorrow the cable guy is coming at 8 am and we need to buy some shelving units for our closet. Saturday I am getting my hair done and then going to vw's wedding. I refuse to do anything productive at all that day. Meanwhile, we're going to sleep on our brand new memory foam mattress tonight in our new house!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You're in your new house!
