Hec, I remember seeing that same sort of footage of sharks swimming all around people wading in the ocean when we lived in So. Florida in the early 80s. Weirdly, it didn't freak me out too much. I love swimming in the ocean! East coast, not west coast - too friggin' cold here!

Swung by mom's place tonight. helped her set up VCR and DVD on her "new" TV.
Called Dad to see how he's doing. Talked to his gf, as he was plopped in the lounge area with sole access to the TV (apparently a rare thing). Sounds like he's feeling the side effects. swinging back and forth between constipation... and the opposite. Hopefully his spirits are still up. Will try and call tomorrow. And apparently I'm the only sibling checking in on him, despite living the farthest away. And my lovely sister, who lives 5 miles away, is caught up in her own world and not checking in on him. And yes, that's pissing me off.
