Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Teppy, I hope you get to feeling better.

Erin, tons of job~ma for you.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Tons of job~ma, Erin. I hope they see what an asset you'd be.

Lots of ~ma, Erin!

Ugh, mice. I had a few in my old apt in Northampton, and my cat was totally useless. Chase them around? He can do that all night. Actually kill them? Not a chance. Fortunately, our new cat seems to be a much better hunter, if the beetle, fly, and moth he's killed and eaten in the last few weeks are anything to judge by.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Just got back from vet, my first trip to a regular vet here and OMG, so impressed. No bullshit, good diagnostician, excellent patient/owner manner. He's kind of the vet equivalent of StW. He walked out to talk to me in the waiting room, humming and decanting the urine he'd just extracted from Frankie via catheter. Maybe you had to be there, but it was funny. Anyway, they're doing a urinalysis and he's going to call me with the results. PLUS - they are very reasonable. Whole visit, including urinalysis, under $70, and he recommends taking things step by step and not doing unnecessary, expensive stuff.

Back to work! We had a chat this morning - I'm trying the nice way and seeing if it works. If not, the laser eyes come out.

Fingers crossed for Frankie, smonster! Poor puppy.

And a big WOO-HOO for Vortex!! That's awesome! I'm just sad I'm no longer living with an hour of Hartford. When do you start?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Congrats, Vortex!

We haven't worked that out yet. I'm thinking mid-November.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Vortex, congratulations! That's excellent!
