Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"But--don't you think you're taking this light cooking thing a little far?"

Hell, yes.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

One thing I would tell Bourdain if I met him is that he is never going to out-drink, or truly keep up with, a man like Zamir. But he always has to try, because he was a bad-ass at CBGB's or whatever-the-fuck(and, yes, I'm Buffista enough to worry about where I put those hyphens...obvious sign I'm not a bad-ass. I've been typing since I was five, but I still look. I don't know if I need to, or if trying not to, throws off my poor damaged brain, but whatever.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I never had elective space to take typing (drama & Spanish, drama & choir, drama & choir & stagecraft) in high school, which turns out to be a good thing, because when I tried to learn as an adult I discovered that the nerve damage in my right shoulder makes it uncomfortable-verging-on-impossible to hold my right hand/wrist in the correct position. I would have been miserable trying it for an entire semester. So I continue to type one-handed, occasionally using the right hand for shifting, entering, and backspacing. When really flying, I can type 30ish wpm, but I'm not even going to try without looking.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I took typing in Junior High. To this day I can type fast, but that means I have to use the backspace key a lot.

I can also type without looking at the keyboard, but that means I have to use the backspace key a lot.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I took typing the last semester of my senior year in HS. The class was right after my lunch period and I think I only showed up the day before and the day of a test. We had those lovely typewriters that didn't have anything on the keys. For the first month or so, we had a character map that we could prop up in front of us, but after that it was all touch.

My fingers know where the letters are, but if I tried to look as I tyhped, I'd mess up horribly. (That was typed without looking at the keys or the screen and only one error, not too bad).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I took typing in eithghth grade, from someone who was also the music instructor for my earlier elementary school. He was not best pleased to be teaching typing. I'm not sure how thrilled he'd be with this eyes-closed typing job, either.

Hmmmm. Not sure what an "eithghth" is, but the rest looks OK.

I discovered that by using Siri I can dictate posts faster than I can type them on my iPhone. Also it's kind of scary how accurate Siri can be. Are you Siri to make this post. Ooh, Siri's first mistake.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I took rtyping in junior high as well, and I am typing with my eyes closed right now. Probably some mistakes. But I backspace a lot. It's good times. We played fun typing games ands hit. Typung fast is fun except sometimes I just fuck everything up.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I also took typing in HS -- on a typewriter, even! It would sometimes mess me up to go from typing on the typewriter at school, with its heavy keys, to typing on the computer at home, where the keys were much easier to push. Don't know how I'd do if I tried to go back to a typewriter now.

ION, I dreamed last night that I ate a muffaletta, and it was so good. My lunch of leftover pasta with broccoli was rather disappointing in comparison.
