Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi vw, congratulations! I am so happy for you. I snuck a peek of some pics of you on FB, you look so lovely and happy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

ZEN! How the heck are you???!

AWESOME.

I haven't been on FB lately to say Congrats, so: CONGRATS!

Yes, this is an ASSCAP sort of day.

Mostly lurking...

Awwww...thanks Burrell and Zenkitty! I am happy. Happy and content. It's a good combo. Also, we're quite silly together, which works nicely. We have some fun stuff on our website/blog. And our wedding is going to be quite fun.

It will hopefully be live streamed, if I can get that all figured out. Struggling with some bits of it right now.

Hey VW! Great to see your pixels! Glad to hear no meltdown yet. Hey, maybe you won't need one, eh? How cool would that be?

SJ, It's a lot at once, meltdowns are allowed. I certainly had my fair share when I was packing for the move to Texas. Plus, you have the added joy of house buying/prepping. Yes, I hope to need the same meltdown soon (does that make me a sick person??)

In other news, I think this is the ugliest web site I have seen in a long time. It's like an acid flashback to the mid-nineties
Oh. My! That looks like e-mails my crazy right wing uncle sends me. Gotta love those animated GIF's. I tell ya, that page was bogging down my iPad2. Typing was delayed when that page was open (I was sending an e-mail with the link to a graphic designer friend of mine who should get a lovely shudder from it).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, I'm waiting for my melt-down. I figure it will come in about a week...right after Mom and my SIL arrive. I mean, it won't have the greatest impact unless there are more people around to see it, right?

Absolutely. I was on the phone with Mom and had to hang up so I could catch my breath, so I figure I got enough impact on that one.

Plus we have to pick out new healthcare this week. Joy. I hope you get to have your own moving meltdown very soon.

I know I am not the best of spellers. And grammar is not my strong suit. But when a PROFESSOR responds to an email with (pardon the asscaps, his doing, not mine):

I KIND OF LIKE IT NOT BEING A SOLDIER'S KNIVE
Well, it just makes me cry a little inside. What makes it worse, he is responding to a prop note that has knife spelled correctly...twice!

:: sigh ::

Lunch!

Cool, I was just on the radio... sort of. The local NPR is talking about hybrid car owners being repeat customers. I wrote on the Facebook page my thoughts on it, and the hostess led off the discussion with my post! I'm famous!!

Here is the link to the shows webpage. They usually have links later on to hear segments. [link]

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

omins, my brother is a professor of Journalism and his blog makes me howl with laughter at all of the typos!

His defense is that his hands are too big for keyboards. Right.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Heh - my step-brother wrote for a local paper and had more typos than you'd believe. He said it was because he typed so fast (120ish wpm) that he couldn't correct himself. (Some people, not naming names here, might believe he was too lazy to go back and re-read).
