No idea what was wrong with the car. AAA was taking too long and TCG has a gig tonight. So we're calling them back tomorrow.
ION, I'm so tired that I refered to my DH as TCG in an e-mail to my mother.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, dear. I'm so sorry about the car and the allergies and all the brutal hard work of the last couple of weeks, and for how bone-weary you must be by now, but this is kind of adorable.
Aw, sorry sj. Feel better!
Sean, I'm not sure how quickly this will happen, but I would be forever grateful if you could help if you're available when the time comes. Thanks so much.
Heh. What JZ said. I hope the car thing is NBD.
PIx, holy shitsnacks!! That is just farcical levels of suck. Take it easy while you recover from the concussion, I don't know if you've had one before but it may take a bit for your brain to get back to normal. I'm so glad you were on top of things and went to the ER, though I'm sorry about the copay.
Gracious heavens, I am full. I just had an absolutely amazing meal with Nora and my folks. It. Was. GOOD. My parents are having a wonderful time, and they adore Tom and Nora (as all right thinking people do).
JZ, it is kind of funny. We're home now. Time to finally watch last week's Mad Men and then sleep.

D'awwwww! Thanks. I am watching the Friday Night Lights pilot right now in your honor!
Just finished the pilot. Tom to me when I was getting into the final plays of the game: "You do realize this isn't a real game, right?" Me: t bawls
If it helps any, I worked with some of the actors from FNL when I was in Dallas.
Nora, I caught it a few episodes in and didn't see the pilot until later. Even so, I found myself on my feet cheering for a fictional character playing a sport I don't like. Impressive. And yes, I cried at the pilot, too, even though I was spoiled.
Best to have tissues handy when watching FNL. Never know who's gonna make you cry when. Lots of feels from lots of characters.
What did Tom think?
You guys! At a party tonight, I got suspended (rope dealie; actually kind of like a hammock, seriously) for the first time. It was SO COOL!
Here's a picture (NOT of me, and it IS totally SFW) of what it basically looks like (except my hands and arms were free): [link]
Yay fun! I can hardly call it kinky; I was fully clothed, and it was just -- hook me up, hoist me off the ground, watch me swing back and forth saying "Whee!!!" That's all it was. SO FUN!
