Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am thinking of you, Ginger. I wish I could help.

Oh my fuck, Ginger, I'm so sorry.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh fucking fuck, Ginger. God, I am so sorry, and hoping like hell that you're in the 10%.

If there's anything I can do for you in Nashville, please just let me know.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Somebody does have to be in the 10%. But that's awful. I'm sorry. (are you feeling well enough to do a tiny "Always wanted to..." today?)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ginger, love, I'm so sorry.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Ginger. I am sorry to hear that awful news. What everyone has said about wanting to have something more concrete we can do. And yes, there is a curve and there are people in the % that beat the cancer.

I'll share my neighbor's story. He had the dreaded vicious aggressive pancreatic cancer. He had a couple years of gruesome treatment, lost a ton of weight, apparently diabetes is a related issue so he had miserable inability to heal issues, sold his business interests, said his goodbyes. The doctors had no encouraging words; they told his mother and partner maybe 5%, but he was in and out of critical because he didn't handle the treatments well. But he fought back somehow. And he shocked and surprised everyone, including himself. The last time I saw him out riding his bike he told me his doctor didn't want to see him for another year because his last few rounds of testing everything all showed him free and clear. And of course now he has to tell everyone he meets how to eat right and exercise and live our lives.

I do have to add that his partner's theory is that he is such an asshole neither god nor the devil want him. He could be right about that. The cancer is apparently cured, but he is still a jerk.

So I am not recommending that you start being a jerk, because I don't think that is the key. But I do want to send all the strength I have to you. May the doctors have a plan for treatment that works quickly and effectively.
