Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm at my regular bar.

I wish I had a regular bar.

I'm very excited that a new bar is opening near my place in Connecticut. I'm hoping to get in on the ground floor.

Also, I am chilliing in MFNLaw's living room right now! I know that you all are jealous!

Ooh! I am jealous. Also kinda tipsy. I mean, I know the place and damn the bartender poured me a strong one but STILL. HOE AM I SO DRUNK OFF ONE DRINK!?!?

oops. Didn't mean that to all be in caps. Too hard to Change. P ly autocorrect keeping me making sense right now.

Danced with fun new girl who is amazing dancer. She only has one Friday off ever 6 weeks. Not fair! .... Really not feeling enthused about tomorrows date now. Sigh.

But new hot boots felt good! Yay. And got haircut and had her blow out straight and everyOne cOmplimented me. Sadly can't make Hair like that at home

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee, drunk posting meara is cute!

I am up too late for such a long day tomorrow, but worth it for good friends.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't like flies in bagels. I prefer them plain or egg.

Heh, I read it that way too.

Yay for Vortex and Maria F2F time! So very jealous.

Love drunk posting meara!

Enjoy the day, Liese. It may not be sense making, but it seems the busier I am the more I get done, including the fun stuff.

Speaking of which, time for me to get back to work so I can play later.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Me too!

And yeah, I find that to be true too, Laura, although it also means time goes by faster!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Looking to be a beautiful day here in New Orleans. Tom and I are gonna do a Easter Keg Hunt (a fundraiser scavenger hunt sponsored by our awesome local brewery, NOLA Brewing) and the Freret Street Fest is happening AND Jammin' on Julia... lots of fun stuff. AND OMG FRENCH QUARTER FEST IS NEXT WEEK.

Going to get my hair cut before fun times begin. I am thinking about keeping it long, but having it shaped/layered so it's a more flattering long look. I usually just chop it all off, so this is a big change!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Waking up at 7:40 on a day off, one that you specifically turned off ALL alarms, in hopes of sleeping in. After a particularly long/not so good day... When it feels like some spoons got borrowed from future days... Well hell, it's just not right. I'm hoping a "Second Sleep" kicks in... But doesn't feel likely. Legs & back still ache. Blargh.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Jealous of Vortex and Maria, but glad they're together.

Yesterday's four hours at the doctor's got me hydrocodone (Yay!), an EKG, a chest X-ray, a referral to a cardiologist and a blood test that shows my hemoglobin is still working its way down into transfusion territory.

Tell me it's going to be okay. Tell me the good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Exactly that, friend. Exactly that.
