Jealous of Vortex and Maria, but glad they're together.
Yesterday's four hours at the doctor's got me hydrocodone (Yay!), an EKG, a chest X-ray, a referral to a cardiologist and a blood test that shows my hemoglobin is still working its way down into transfusion territory.
Tell me it's going to be okay. Tell me the good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after

Exactly that, friend. Exactly that.
Oh, Ginger. I'm glad you got painkillers, at least.
Ginger, I'm glad you got some painkillers. Keeping fingers crossed for you and the ~ma flowing.
Nora, I may head to Freret with KM and them. Maybe see you there? I feel like I need a nap after Doggies and Donuts, but I have so much to do before my parents get here! Meep!!
{{{{{Ginger}}}}} So very much ~ma headed your way.
We picked up paint this morning, and TCG is at the house starting that. I am back at the apartment trying to find the motivation to bake ricotta pies. I declare the coffee shop near the house to be a winner. I just had the most delicious croissant filled with cheese and spinach.
Yikes, Ginger. Yay for finally getting some real pain killers! Do you see the cardiologist soon? I hope the scary blood test results get you some more assertive treatment from your doctor. Did he seem to understand that this has gone on way too long?
{{{Ginger}}}
Keeping various appendages crossed and sending much ~ma your way.
Continuing ~ma, Ginger, and yay for getting the real painkillers! Surely your doctor is starting to feel a sense of urgency, here?
