Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Fingers crossed that Mia will be okay.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending good thoughts, Pix.

In other kitty news, I now know I need to be extra-careful when using the feather-onna-string toy with Vlad. He did a flying leap from the stairs and landed with all claws out on my chest and arm. And even tho' he and Erzabet aren't even a year old yet, they're ENORMOUS. Bigger than either Ruthven or Trin.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

In other other kitty news, StW is allergic to Xusa. Normally this is a minor issue, but during allergy season? He just had to get up and go home. Oh well, we'll both sleep better this way.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

I love each and every one of you.

So very much mutual, Maria. I am holding thoughts of you close to my heart, always.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Karl! Always lovely to see you.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Aw, thinking healthy cat thoughts for Mia, Kristin.

Today, Wallybee and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. We've had the most wonderful day.

First thing in the morning, we took Ryan to get some family portrait photos done. My son has become the most incorrigible show-off. He buried his shy little self in a daddy cuddle as soon as he saw the photographer, until he realised the guy had a camera. (Photos to share in a few days' time.)

Afterwards, we visited Melbourne Zoo. Ryan was just thrilled (as was his daddy). My favourite part: over Christmas, we went to Phillip Island and (among other things) visited a wildlife park with Australian animals. When we got to the Australian section at the zoo, Ryan suddenly pointed and shouted "Holiday emu!" (His favourite part was seeing the elephants, apparently. He was also keen on the gorillas and monkeys. They have a mandrill family there.)

After his nap, we had a couple of my classmates come over (it's the first time they've seen our place), and we went out to dinner. Once again, Ryan = showoff. Good to catch up with them. (Wallybee likes them too, not least because it means she has someone with whom she can speak Chinese.)

They stayed till about 9:30. (We pulled out the wedding photos, it being our anniversary. This included Ryan occasionally pointing at photos and declaring "Two mummies!" "Six daddies!") Now WB and I are in bed, watching Life on Earth. (Episode: The Swarming Hordes. Being treated to many acts of wanton insect pollination.)

It's been a good day.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

bt, that sounds like a most excellent way to spend your anniversary. It is so nice to see you blossom and how happy you've been with Wallybee. I'd love her just for that, despite the fact she's a kick-ass woman all on her own.

Kitty~ma, Pix. Also, much procedure~ma to Ginger and a continuing lot of general health~ma to everyone out there, it seems like we could all use a little of it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Anniversary, billytea and Wallybee! That sounds like a lovely anniversary celebration.

I'm headed to vw's wedding shower today!
