Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It can be problematic, though, in terms of who gets to display such signs.

And it could be awkward trying to figure out who was in legitimate mourning and who was just a goth.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

And who is still mourning Whitney.

Well, I honestly did wear a black armband for a while. Or a large pin on my lapel with torn black ribbon, or a lapel pin vase holding one of the blossoms from the many floral arrangements people sent.

Not to mention that I feel there's a pretty obvious difference from someone in gothy black and someone in mourning.

Wearing memento mori is part of the subculture.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

From a no-longer-dressing-the-part-goth: mourning clothes are different. Gothy clothes are ornate, fancy, often distressed. A non goth wearing their only black dress for a week, or rotating through a handful of black tops is very noticeably different than a theatre person or goth who normally dresses in all black, especially if you have any familiarity with that person at all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did they cancel her show? Dude! It's funny, she's cute. Don't cancel Whitney!!

A touch too soon, methinks.
