The only time I've made homemade mayo, I used olive oil instead of canola oil. It was... not very good. But I'm fully prepared to believe that someone else's olive-oil mayo would be much better.

Butter is kept on the counter; mayonnaise is okay, but I prefer MW because it's what I grew up with; I assume what I got in Spain was mayonnaise made with olive oil and it was the only condiment that went on french fries as is right and proper in Spain. NOM.

I slept way longer than I had planned to, but man was I tired. I read two books and drained my phone battery yesterday. Working as an extra can be so depressing in the same way as going other places on the internet; people are so immature, and thoughtless, and cruel. Cutting in line, extended "no, *you're retarded* one-upmanship, etc.
I'm supposed to go canvassing today, but with severe thunderstorms and a tornado watch, I'm thinking that's not going to happen. Frankie is nervous - I'm trying to be as calm as I can, and I gave him his favorite chew treat, and he won't chew it. He's just sitting right in front of me under the kitchen table.
I hope we don't lose power.
