Totally this. We've got a couple of creepy guys who consistently get hired in this 'hood. I can relate to how uncomfortable that can be.

I've been trying to find a behaviorist who specializes in Bull breeds to watch my technique and give me some insight into managing the two behavioral issues Cagney is displaying.

I went to the schmanciest shelter in the area (WARL, for the local folks) because they have a department dedicated to Bullys. If I were a lawyer, I would be smart enough not to represent myself.

I gave them my specific needs and asked for a referral within the organization to the person best suited to them.

The response? "Read the website."

Really? Um. I would not have known about your specialty department, nor how to reach you, had I not already read the website.

The woman also used the word 'certified' four times in two sentences.

I don't know about you, but I've visited some pretty awful doctors and gotten some incredibly wise advice from friends...like, for instance, HERE. Having a few letters behind your name doesn't make you good at what you do.

And not being able to answer a simple question is not decent customer service.

My cousin is a biology professor, and gets asked to write letters of recommendation for her students. Apparently there's a form the students fill out to make it easier for the professors to have all the info in one place. So my cousin sends me an e-mail to tell me what a student wrote on page 1 of her form: "Strengths: I believe I have reasonably well writing skills"

I e-mailed her back and said, "You can say the student has reasonably good irony skills."

Maybe take out a restraining order, so when you shoot him there'll be precedent?

I find this more than a little creepy.
