Erin, when I was self-employed, my Schedule C income was just filed as part of our joint 1040. Make sure you take any adjustments, deductions, etc. to your AGI.
DH backs up Dana's advice, Erin. That's how he does our taxes.
Thanks, guys!

Hey, check it out! I'm an Official Guest Blogger! And a series, no less! [link]
Well, today I applied for a Kaiser plan. I hope it doesn't take too long for them to review it and let me know either way. I have until 4/30 to pay the premium for COBRA coverage. I'd rather not, but at least it's a plan B. The Kaiser plan I got is about $400 a month including basic dental (Delta Dental). I was really tempted to go for a cheaper plan but two surgeries last year has scared me out of going cheap. Those surgeries would have been about $25,000 each out of pocket! For outpatient!
Launching a Kickstarter Friday. In the meantime a preview is available and feedback would be very welcome.
Oooh best of luck, Typo!
Thanks Java. Could really use feedback/critiques - look & feel, clarity, and so on. Then Friday I go live and actually start begging for money!
I've not said much in here lately but business has been going pretty welll. I've been working on getting a lease set up to make a large equipment purchase. It's a new console and 10 more channels of wireless. I just got the email that I'm approved for the full amount. I'm now finalizing the order. I'm both excited and nervous. Up to this point I have owned all of my gear outright. This is the first time I will have to support a pease payment on rental gear. It's the right decision so that the company can grow but it's more than a little nerve wracking.
