Thanks for the explanation. It was one of those situations where I knew what should be done but couldn't figure out why and, as Bonnie said, your explanation makes sense and will help me remember it next time.

Does anyone have a Business Plan TO GET THE NEW NATTER UP?!?!?!
tries to run, staggers out instead
Erin, don't be surprised if I contact you soonishly and give you monies on my aunt's behalf, because she needs to find a job and kind of desperately needs your resume magic.
No lie, I am kind of excited to support a Buffista AND help my family at the same time.
Here's an interesting approach to business cards: [link]
De nada, shrift. Happy to help you and your aunt out.
We pitch Throwbacks: a reNOLAble resource tonight!! Wish us luck. Our final line is, "Let me hear you say, 'Throw me something greener!!" and then we'll have a few necklaces to toss out. Carefully. Because those suckers are heavy.
Much luck! I'll even virtually flash ya!
xposted from Bitches: So, we didn't win. Sadface. But we totally should have!! We really truly had the best pitch, and slides, and I tossed out a few glass bead necklaces at the end! I didn't even want to win until tonight, and now I really wish we had. But the president of a local recycling company came up to me and gave me his card, and we're going to set up a meeting with him. I don't know how the hell we'll have time to make this happen, but we're going to try! (The winning idea involved people trading unwanted beads for bathroom tokens along the parade route, and I gave her my contact info and told her I'd help her since I have green event experience.)

Dude, that's pretty awesome! Even if you didn't win, you made connections! (The beads for bathrooms sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me, really...)
