Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

HA! No, not for my business, but it might be for some!!

Argh. Ok, mop and dust dining room to set my immobile ass up for a while, and then back to reading & critiquing.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

is mayhem and fear really a deductible expense?

Some places it's a standard operating expense.

Some places it's a standard operating expense.

It goes under "business meals and entertainment" on Schedule C and you can only deduct half your costs.

Does anyone know if can I deduct my expenses for this interview (parking, out of town meals) on my taxes as job search expenses?

Parking and meals, no, and you can only deduct job-search expenses if you are looking for the same job in the same field, and if it comes to 2%+ of your AGI.

And thank you, you just gave me an idea for a blog post for my biz.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.
