We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Vibing hard for the safety of all Buffistas.

I stayed at home today due to a 101.4 fever that keeps going down (after I take Tylenol), and then back up within four hours, and then down, and then up... I've only had some yogurt at 2:30 and lots of water, but I'll probably make up some tomato soup for dinner. Not protein loaded like I'm supposed to be eating, but I don't think my stomach can handle beef or eggs right now. I just hope I can stop feeling so completely dragged down and exhausted. At least the chills stopped after only 2 1/2 hours of me shaking nonstop overnight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Half-assed egg drop soup (seriously, an egg swirled into hot broth, add some soy sauce or lemon if you feel like it) is an easy to make, easy to eat, protein-y meal.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I'm somewhat reassured that the National Weather Service doesn't seem to be nearly as panicked about this area as the local news storm team, whose members react to the word "tornado" much like hungry pets hearing their owner call "dinner."

Librarian Warlord

Channel 5 is now on their way out here to do an interview. I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.

I realize that all I've posted about is my dog for the past 6 weeks. Thank you all for putting up with me. No one hopes more than I do that I can someday post about cilantro again.

If you spot Jim Cantore in your neighborhood, you may as well kiss your house goodbye.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, Sparky, you know Sass is in our hearts too. Don't apologize for talking about her. We care about you, and the search for Sass is what's going on in your life right now.

Also, you'll rock this interview.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I'd be a mess if I lost my dog. my brother finds lost dogs all the time and has reunited 3 or 4 with their people. I hope somebody like him has Sass too. He was all set to keep one after 6 weeks, but finally his people checked in somehow and got Bullseye home.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I still have my fingers crossed for Sass

Me too.

My mom called, the parents are fine and they have power. They were out seeing a matinee at the dinner theatre. They had no idea that they were just blocks away from where the initial touchdown was. Oy.

Oh, and I finally have confirmation that all the extended family in SW Mo and NW AR are fine.
