I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think you're at the very tail of it, msbelle. The worst of it should go north of you.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I hope that means an offer is just right around the corner, msbelle.

Looks like I only have to be nervous until 11pm Central for Wichita. Then this all starts up tomorrow for all the people east of here. I hope Mother Nature gives Joplin a break. Jesus.

etaa: If anyone had a video camera out they had a good shot of me running after a dauchshund that was loose and panicked and running up and down my street. (Please, God don't let me running go viral) But a black car stopped and a little girl got him. It was too far away from me to ask any questions. I felt better that he had a place out of the rain or was with his owners.

I should go to the gym, but I woke up exhausted and with a sinus migraine that has persisted all day. I just wanna go to bed.

I can't! Well, I can read his post, but not the thread--the webfilter here blocks Disqus.

It shall have to wait until I get home (and walk the dog and have dinner).

It's lightening up here. I'm concerned about the peeps in Oklahoma now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In good news, I just got the cutest packet of thank-you notes from a Donors Choose project! OMG, they are adorable.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm about to have a rage blackout.

I wrote a email to my representative, who is high enough up the food chain to be making a bid for one of Missouri's Senate seats next election. I said I would take it as a personal favor if he called Cantor out in open session for not having a shred of decency or compassion.

I look forward to seeing what, if any, response I get.

I'm a little in love with you right now, Anne.

eta: The tornado warnings that are going off in Kansas are all quite a ways to the west. It's really clearing off in Wichita. OKC, Norman are getting more than us.

etaa: My local tv is going back to network programming so everything must be fine.

Thanks for babysitting me. heh.
