I'm trying to remember if there's anything of import in the episodes in between. Probably not, huh?
Huh, I've been out of the fandom long enough I forget which eps those are. Um, "I, ET". Oh, here's a list:

Okay, yeah. The only ones that have much long-term importance are "Exodus from Genesis" (where you learn about Sebacean susceptibility to heat) and "PK Tech Girl" (where you meet Gilina the first time). Although I like "Throne for a Loss" because Browder says the moment he manhandles Rygel is the moment where Rygel becomes a person and not just a puppet.
"DNA Mad Scientist" gets you a bunch of interesting characterization (like what Zhaan is willing to do!), plus it really opens up the universe pretty widely. From there to the end of the season, there's only two clunkers: "Rhapsody in Blue" and "Jeremiah Crichton" (which even the show's own writers acknowledge is pretty crappy). And of course the run from "Through the Looking Glass" to "Family Ties" is just fabulous (with the possible exception of "Bone to Be Wild").

Horrible beard, stuck on some planet?
We just got a huge rain storm, and there's a tornado warning for several surrounding counties. No word of tornadoes hitting here, but tons of wind.
That's the storm I'm waiting on. Pretty sure I can't get my regular swim in until it moves through.
Horrible day at work. My computer would not even turn on, boss lady is back from vacation and did not seem pleased with all I did not do last week and seemed obsessed with the office being unorganized - whereas I felt unequiped to do many things last week and put files in different places because I was doing everything instead of her doing half of the tasks. I need a real job.
Hey Trudy--another one on travel insurance in case you're still looking--

Good luck on getting a job-job, msbelle.
I finally heard back from the people I know in Joplin. Some homes lost, some glass cuts, but otherwise not as bad as it could have been. I know of a few deaths of friends of friends, but not people I know directly. One friend of a friend was lucky; the theater he was in was destroyed, and people on both sides of him were killed, but he survived with only minor injuries.
