Thank you, Jessica. I'm going on the premise that no news is good news. I'm hoping that my mom will check in with the family in that part of the state and let me know tonight. Based on the weather reports I watched last night I'm really only worried about the cousin in Aurora and the cousin who could have been traveling between Joplin and Fayetteville.

In other good news, Aeryn does NOT have pinkeye! (She slept through the night last night and woke up with gunky eyes so DH took her to the doctor. Apparently she just has backed-up tear ducts which is a thing that happens at this age. Which means SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT ON HER OWN OMG.)
Woo hoo for Aeryn and for you and Ethan.
Hi guys! Thank goodness for the internet, because we wouldn't have known if the rapture had actually happened or not on Saturday, due to being in Sin City....
I am SO GLAD I took today off work.
I can't believe the devastation in Joplin.
Which means SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT ON HER OWN OMG.
Oh, that's a happy night for all involved.
That's as good a volcano name as Krakatoa!
Wow, volcanoes cause lightning? Awesome, in a scary way.
So is Iceland like Hawaii - basically made up of mostly volcanoes?
Also, heath-ma and it's-nothing-ma for Fay's sister.

Exactly. It straddles the border between the Atlantic and European plates. In fact, at points on the island, you can see where the line between the two is expanding; it's a canyon in the middle of the island that is growing annually by the same rate as fingernails grow.
