Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Guys, let me run this past you before I take it to Bureaucracy:

We have so many Buffistas who are writers, small business owners, etc.

What about a new thread for Buffista business owners? People could bounce ideas and solutions off of one another, and Buffistas who need services/offer services could see if anyone there could do what they need.

It's a thought I've bounced around with a couple of Buffistas I've been working with?

Thoughts, or should I take it over to B'cracy?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Erin, if you propose, I would happily second.

I will only eat strawberry rhubarb pies for this reason.

Also very good: blackberry rhubarb pie!

I love rhubarb, and pies with it, and cakes with it, and stewed rhubarb compote....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tom, thanks for those!! We didn't get any pics of ourselves, naturally.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

cleaning. I just hit the hall closet and am in massive purge mode. I have a pile. AND I just found a shoebox of old bank statements to shred.

I am thinking more and more about having a garage sale in the next couple of weeks. I know my parents would be good for some stuff and maybe my family an hour away would have some bigger stuff (they just moved into a smaller home). My friends who had a sale this Saturday sold almost everything except the big items, and I only have small items, so I think I could get rid of a chunk of stuff and maybe make a chunk of change.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm totally thinking about purge mode. I'm in Clean All The Things Mode, No Really I Mean It 'Cause The Things Haz Germs. It's probably as good a time as any for purge mode, right? I mean, I have lots of business stuff to catch up on too, but Sunday afternoon is a perfect time for clean and purge, right? I can do the business stuff tomorrow.

I just tsp'd the screen doors for the french doors. UHG. Seriously filthy (2 buckets of water turned BLACK.) I'm not sure what I'll do with them in the long term. Not sure if they would be rehab-able, but I'd want the same in their place and would save the fixtures to reuse. Ah well, not something I have to do NOW. They're functional, but maybe not worth attempting to rescreen anytime soon.

Planted a vinca to go on the table outside, but the set needs a day or two more to cure. Which is good, since I discovered the pot leaks, so I need to get a saucer for it.

Put up more screen on the deck so he can't slip over through the slats. There was a spot I initially hadn't covered because I thought he wouldn't find it. Wrong. I'd meant to do this for a while, but then found him HANGING OFF the neighbor's deck (he got up before I could even cross the deck) so....That had to be fixed. He can jump up on the railings to cross, that doesn't make me as nervous.

I need to purge my magazines.
