Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Connie, the only thing that makes rhubarb sweet is sugar. It is incredibly tart. You have to sugar the life out to get it edible. I will only eat strawberry rhubarb pies for this reason. I ate a slice of rhubarb pie and was not pleased.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Rhubarb is only technically a vegetable, like tomatoes are technically fruits. It requires sugar, which removes it from the vegetable category.

I don't really understand how people can believe in the end-of-the-world crazies, but mocking them after their lives have fallen apart is ugly.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Some of the rhubarb is pretty green, so I'm considering adding extra sugar. It's a cake with a streusel topping.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It requires sugar, which removes it from the vegetable category.

How does requiring sugar mean it's not a vegetable? There are plenty of unsweet veggies. If it didn't require sugar, what would it be?

I love rhubarb crumble. The tanginess is delectable.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Vegetarian Times this month had an article about rhubarb with a bunch of recipes, and one of them was a rhubarb and lentil curry.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Guys, let me run this past you before I take it to Bureaucracy:

We have so many Buffistas who are writers, small business owners, etc.

What about a new thread for Buffista business owners? People could bounce ideas and solutions off of one another, and Buffistas who need services/offer services could see if anyone there could do what they need.

It's a thought I've bounced around with a couple of Buffistas I've been working with?

Thoughts, or should I take it over to B'cracy?

Erin, if you propose, I would happily second.
