Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad at least he's feeling good.

Very much this.

Also, NILLY PI BABY!

My work computer did the electronic equivalent of flouncing today, after I asked too much of it. (downloading a big file, and trying to open an excel file AT THE SAME TIME)

That made the rest of the day more interesting than it really needed to be.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

WTF is wrong with the Democrats?

t cynic

They don't want to anger their corporate backers any more than the Republicans do? They just need to make really extra double sure it looks like it was the other guy's idea.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sue, so much ~ma for all of you. My mom has done fine with A-fib for the last 4 years. It's totally manageable.

I totally get the feeling, msbelle. I can't motivate myself to apply for jobs either, and I really need to.

Nilly baby is adorable.

Burrell, unfortunately that's not cynical; it's reality.

Perkins, how are you feeling?

Nilly baby is awesome.

I have A-fib and have gotten along fine with it.

Unfortunately, I think my dad's been diagnosed with Ventricular Tachycardia, which is a little different than A-Fib. Hence, the pacemaker/defibrillator implant. We've been through a serious heart attack (25 years ago!) and bypass surgery with my dad, so this seems manageable. But at his age, it's still worrying.

Thanks for the ma. My mom seems calm, which is reassuring. I thought that after she fell apart when her cat died last week, that all this stress might be too much.

I spent a good part of the evening cleaning the spare room for my sister. Those cats are no help when making a bed...it took me twice as long. Thank god they are so cute.

Sue, what is his heart rate if he is tachycardic? Are they thinking meds over something mechanical?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Burrell, unfortunately that's not cynical; it's reality.

Sighhh... Yeah. Cynical is thinking that the public schools have been deliberately hobbled because an uneducated electorate is more easily influenced by theatrics and are unfamiliar with concepts like "socialism" "civil liberties".
