This morning a classmate of Owen's told me that she liked a story about a girl who kills vampires. The girl touched them with a magic stick and the vampires turned to dust.
I asked her if the girl's name was Buffy. She said yes and then she said one of the vampires was good. He had white hair and was named Spike.
I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all morning.
I was okay until this part:

We're having teenage rain. Tempestuous, prone to not following through, random alternating weepy and torrential with calm. Basically, unpredictable.
God, I need to get a new battery for this laptop. It'a goddamn flaky, and with Loki around, get unplugged too frequently (dies at 80%.)

You know, I love my new MBP, but I'm not crazy about the Magsafe power cord dealie. I think it comes unplugged from the laptop port WAY too easily. Or possibly I'm very flaily and Mr. Bean when I use the thing.
It's much better than the previous power cord, which came unplugged with a lot of difficulty, deforming itself in the process. It's why I'm on my second MacBook, primarily.
Yeah, I find it comes off easy, but I think the issue with my old laptop may be a powercord issue, so...
