Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just came across this Dollhouse thing on Tumblr, and awwww: [link] sniff

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I don't cry at length, but I probably cry pretty often. I thought that was just the life of a Supernatural fan, though.

Word.

I know I've made stuff with coconut milk but I can't remember/find any recipes. Bah.

The first time I used it was in a rice dish that sounds very similar to meara's. I ended up with the same problem of left overs. Pina Coladas sounds like a good solution.

Also, after checking, my insurance company made the mistake so I get to keep my adult card. Yay for small things going right.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Used coconut milk the other day with broccoli, sweet potato, pineapple, shrimp, onion, sweet peppers, curry powder, garlic, lime juice.

Today's recipe: Garbanzo beans, whole wheat pasta, sunflower seeds, harvarti, onions, tomato, salt, garlic, sweet basil, marjoram, thyme, lemon juice, olive oil, wine, touch of honey.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

re: book to films for Hunger Games and the white font the mutants that was probably the single most disturbing thing in the first book for me and I am not quite sure how I will be able to look at that onscreen and not scream out loud. Wasn't The Dark Knight PG-13? I guess that's probably the limit in how disturbing a PG-13 movie can be.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, this is random, but I need to post it where people will get the reference:

We just got back from seeing a local band at a bar. This is a band that's been around for literally 30 years, so the audience's *average* age was 50-ish (as is the band). And they were dancing their asses off, having a great time.

After a few songs, Tim said to me, "Oh my god, you know what this reminds me of? Band Candy!"

Me: "I don't like this -- they could have heart attacks!"

(I forgot "There are some foxy ladies here tonight!")

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Kiss rocks? Why would anyone want to kiss...

Hey, did you see Ms. Barton? I think she's wasted.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

A can of coconut milk plus a can of green curry paste and a pork butt in the slow cooker makes a pretty amazing 5-minute green curry. (5 minutes active cook time that it. Waiting time is about 8 hours.)

If you have an ice cream maker, I think you can also use coconut milk to make vegan ice cream.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We lost the bout last night in Appleton. I got goated by three tough girls and got banged around a bit but had a blast.

Oh man, I was just planning this week's menus, and I think this is going on it.

Have you tried putting any potatoes or veggies in with it too?
