It's a horse tranq, right?
I don't know how they're going to film any of the books and still make them PG-13
For real.
lot of cutting away before shit gets real.
I foresee lots and lots of skin-crawling Foley.
Posted my thoughts in Literary, btw, such as they are.
I really wish someone would take ita's pain seriously.
Whiplash: my stylist's been taking pictures of her clients and posting them to fb. I did a screengrab, cause it's kinda a nice picture, if a little dark and just a phonepic: [link]
Ketamine sounds intense and unpleasant. I think I first heard of it on House.
I can't imagine what the Hunger Games movies are going to be like. And I assume they're doing all three, right?
Congratulations Seska and The Girl!
I think it is used as horse tranq, yeah. Basically it takes your brain completely offline. The anesthesiologist warned me "this is going to feel a little weird". Understatement of the fucking YEAR - I spent my entire c-section having a surreal out of body experience, babbling incoherently the whole time. Coming down from it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had. Ugh.
I only know about it because of the Placebo song of the same name. Apparently it comes on very strong.
In other horrible news, a retired British woman was stabbed to death and beheaded on the Spanish island of Tenerife, by an apparently crazy Bulgarian. Totes random and ghastly.
Quester, insent.
Am now feeling like one of the dealers in Balmer, offering testers so you'll know how good the shit is.
I wanna talk about drugs.
Heroin!
No, not heroin.
Speed!
No, not speed.
Hashish!
No, not even hashish.
Horse tranquilizers?
Not horse tranquilizers.
I didn't get much ketamine. Certainly not enough to feel altered. Definitely NOT ENOUGH TO CURE MY HEADACHE. But I have circled the rim of the K-Hole.
Random question: what sort of easy/delicious thing can I do with coconut milk? Especially "using ingredients I might already have" (ie, not make a curry). I bought some to make the black sticky rice dessert (NOM), but it only used about 1/3 of a can each time I made it (last night and tonight). Even if I make more with the last bit (ran out of rice), I figure in the future I might end up with leftover coconut milk.
