Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I concur with above sentiment that Mockingjay is some of the darkest shit I have read in a long time. The film is going to be BRUTAL.

I don't know how they're going to film any of the books and still make them PG-13 (because that's the rating they HAVE to go for, given that they're YA books). Seriously. Some of the shit from the arena in Catching Fire (I'm just whitefonting b/c this is Natter) -- I cannot EVEN imagine how they can film that. Or the muttations at the end of the games in the first book. I assume they're going to have to do a lot of implying stuff, or a lot of cutting away before shit gets real.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What is ketamine, Jess?

Special K, baby!

Special K, baby!

You are so street, yo. With the slang and the drugs and the glayvin.

Because books.

"Special K" doesn't actually tell me anything, though.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Congratulations to Seska and girl! (I sort of hear that to the tune of pinky and the brain).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

AFAIK, Ketamine's primary use has been as a anesthetic for animals (specifically cats, though that is old old data if it was ever correct). It's dissociative, I think. Which works for some people in a pain-killeresque way, but not everyone? Maybe? I'm relying on my sorry memory of questionable sources, so, have a lot of salt with that.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It's a horse tranq, right?

For real.

lot of cutting away before shit gets real.

I foresee lots and lots of skin-crawling Foley.

Posted my thoughts in Literary, btw, such as they are.

I really wish someone would take ita's pain seriously.

Whiplash: my stylist's been taking pictures of her clients and posting them to fb. I did a screengrab, cause it's kinda a nice picture, if a little dark and just a phonepic: [link]

Because books.

Ketamine sounds intense and unpleasant. I think I first heard of it on House.

I can't imagine what the Hunger Games movies are going to be like. And I assume they're doing all three, right?

Congratulations Seska and The Girl!
