Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks guys. I wish I could work out the magical way to communicate with medical professionals.

I just caught sight of myself in a glass door, and man, I look tired. I feel like I'm depressing people.

Still no appetite, but I'm on my second smoothie of the day.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I am at home. I'm only a few pages in. I got sidetracked by tragic murder story. (Sister of S. we used to go to church with. Did you hear? So sad!) Also, tumblr. Also, laundry and phone calls. But I'll probably get through it by tomorrow night.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from Fairy Fest. It didn't rain, so that was good. Going back tomorrow, early. (Clam Chowder is on at 10:30 am. meh.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Geez. I start to take a bath and suddenly firemen are banging on my door. That was alarming.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got the most ridiculous mani/pedi possibly of my life. I look like an easter basket! Grass green on my toes, cotton candy pink on my fingers. Ah well.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cat and owl are friends

Fum the cat and Gebra the barn owl have a remarkable relationship. They actively play together. Gebra is quite tolerant of Fum’s constant attempts to capture her in midair.

hip deep in pie

My father informed me last night that instead of arriving on Monday for his Dr's appointment, they are coming tomorrow. The plan for today was to clean all the things, but this has somehow devolved into listening to music on my iPod and googling artists that I haven't thought of in years. I have managed to clean the dining room and the foyer, the two easiest rooms in the house to clean.

My Twitter feed is making me almost wish I could watch Eurovision.

aurelia, I'm hoping you aren't on fire?

Sue, dining room and foyer do sound like key places, though...

Firemen?

Yep.

I heard the sirens stop a little too close for comfort and then I heard many voices from the hallway so I got out of the bath to check it out. With just a bathtowel I was going to check the peephole but I smelled smoke before I got there and went back for my robe. Before I had the robe all the way on they were banging on my door. They don't knock subtly.

The hallway certainly smelled like smoke and they were banging on doors looking for the source. No flames were found and while they searched the smell faded a bit and seemed more like incense. So thankfully, no dripping wet and barely dressed evacuation for me.
