Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm a big fan of Advil Cold & Sinus. It has saved me on many occassions.

Thrive to spite them

I found Table Talk because the local paper reprinted something Anne Lamott had written about Mother's Day. I don't know if it was originally written for Salon.com, but Salon.com was mentioned.

So I went and found the forums and started reading all of them. Found the Buffy forums and started watching Buffy again.

I think Teppy came for Ms. Lamott as well. JZ might have too.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Afrin, baby.

I am having a shitty morning. I need to leave in about an hour to catch a plane, and so far I have punched a hole in a Coke can (yes, it was messy) and have a frozen iPod.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I think Teppy came for Ms. Lamott as well.

Nah, after I started watching Buffy in the 4th season, I was trying to find info about it online, and some link led me to TT.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

4th season, Steph? You're a n00b? My god, you pass so well.

You're a n00b?

Totally!

My god, you pass so well.

That's the result of obsessive re-watching ad infinitum.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I remember that I was reading something on Salon.com and saw a note in the sidebar about Buffy, so I clicked, and the rest was history.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I started reading Salon when I read an article about it somewhere else (NY Times, I think), and then I clicked over to TT and started reading there. My roommate (this was my freshman year in college) watched Buffy, so I'd watched the first few episodes of that season and liked it, so I started reading the Buffy forums at TT.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

This

I joined because I was bored at work

combined with this

I found TT because of a link from a Salon article about Buffy

led me to the Buffy board at TT. And I am so very glad I found my way there.

This is me, though I didn't delurk until the Phoenix Board was up and running. I think it was during season 2, which is when I started watching Buffy.
