Aww, Hayden, right backatcha. I've enjoyed having you in my life. And all y'all. Little did I know that Salon interview about mudding would lead to a lifelong community!
Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Hey David, we're ok. Definitely missing some things about Texas (especially our friends), but not the weather. The kids love North Carolina, though.
And Liese, I feel the same way! I first dropped in at Table Talk because I was curious about how other people felt about The Blair Witch Project. Hard to believe that a movie so slight could have led to all of these lasting friendships.
I can't remember if Buffy was the first place I was on Table Talk. I think it must have been.
I came to Salon for the coverage of the Clinton impeachment. Don't remember exactly what pulled me into TT, but my divorce thread in MWT was my first home there. Then I found the Buffistas. I actually got into Buffy because of the Buffy Quotable thread.
I joined TT after Time Magazine's fora closed, as part of a mass exodus from the Faith and Spirituality board. That's the territory in which I first posted on TT, and stumbled across the Buffy discussion while meandering. I have a vague recollection that my first post may have referenced Anselm's Ontological Proof.
I joined because I was bored at work, and Vortex told me if I enjoyed Buffy...
I don't remember brought me in to TT, but I am so glad I found alla youse.
In Blagojevich news (yes, he's still around), he appears to have found a legal team who are in line with his way of thinking.
They're asking for a mistrial because "the prosecution is making them look foolish."
I think that's called losing, dumbasses.
Or in Charlie Sheen's world, "winning."
I found TT because of a link from a Salon article about Buffy, and I'm very glad.
