Mal: Well said. Wasn't that well said, Zoe? Zoe: Had a kind poetry to it, sir.

I found TT because of a link from a Salon article about Buffy, and I'm very glad.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was a bored little temp looking for places to discuss Buffy online and Googled my way into the TT Attic. Where I was hopelessly confused by the current taglines next to years-old discussion but eventually found my way out to the current threads.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, my coworker cannot stop talking about the serious health situation in her family. It is really serious, and I know she processes out loud and her boyfriend never shuts up, but OH MY GOD. I'm not sure how many times I can listen to her.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

This

I joined because I was bored at work

combined with this

I found TT because of a link from a Salon article about Buffy

led me to the Buffy board at TT. And I am so very glad I found my way there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not sure why I joined TT. I did so twice, because I do remember having a signup with my full first and last name, even after I was posting regularly with just my first. Who knows?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ChiKat's path to TT was mine. Who'd have thought futzing around on the internets at work would be so life changing? And in the not getting fired sense.

Art Crawl!!!

I know I found TT because I was bored at work but I can't recall the exact path. Plus, I kept on forgetting my password and needing to reregister.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I found Salon through some political-ish articles someone linked me, and then started exploring TT. It took me a few months to finally start reading the Buffistas, and then I got sucked in to the vortex (not Vortex)!!

ImememeN, um, as of this morning, I'm officially halfway to my goal weight. I've lost 152 pounds, and only need to lose 148 more.
