Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It should be a play on something about your work, no? Not that I have any ideas....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, ugh, sumi; I'm pretty sure that every Buffista who works for a uni or looniversity just got a "No, no, profoundly stupid idea" gut-cramp.

ION, I wish I'd known about this awesome Mother's Day folk song from a biologist to his mom yesterday.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Hmmm....that's too difficult this early, Jessica. And I keep reverting to GI tract jokes.

I've only been involved with 2 guys less than 6 feet tall.

HA! I remember my ex, Malik, used to get irked when I pointed out that at 5'11" he was the shortest guy I had dated.

I totally have a type. Most of my friends can pick it out. But I wouldn't say my exes really looked alike, exactly.

yep. They don't exactly look alike, but if you were to describe them in non specific terms (i.e. not hair color), the same description would fit just about all of them.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I made Bellini cupcakes for dessert, and they were delicious. And then I capped it off with an actual Bellini.

That sounds fantastic. (Says the woman who just had her first Bellini last weekend.)

I haven't dated enough guys to have a type. However, I do know what appeals to me abstractly, at least when it comes to physical types, and I tend to vary between the tall skinny geeky type and beautiful Asian men. So, I think my ideal would be a tall Grant Imahara (from Mythbusters).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They guy who was supposed to marry me this weekend was a moderately tall (5'11?) black comic book geek. He'd have been the first of that configuration. Never been with a black comic book geek, I don't think. Well, the 18 year old might have read comics, but geek he wasn't.

Because books.

Aren't Bellinis awesome?

Mmmm.

Amy knows what I'm talkin' about!!

I spent three years of college lusting after a fellow English major who was a Hawaiian of Chinese and Polynesian descent. OMG, he was beautiful.

My ideal would be half the guys from provocateuse (half? who am I kidding?). That's my type.

If we don't mean to add in personalities. Personality wise, I think if he's open-minded and possesses an ability for humourous cruelty, I think most of the work is complete.
