OK, SERIOUSLY?!?!

For once the project I'm working on (just starting) has locations in my area--two, in suburbs of Seattle. They just sent out the list...and I've got NEITHER of them. WTF?! They've both been given to a woman in Vancouver. She also has one San Diego and one LA-area. I've got Hawaii, 2 San Francisco, 2 LA, and one San Diego. Really?!?!?!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

re: that auction, SOMEbody was a Witchblade fan. I love Jesse's idea. You could sell individual pieces on Etsy for much more than the lot is going for on ebay--if you wanted to go to the trouble.

I don't want to tempt you past due prudence, but it seems like an opportunity to get what you want AND make an eventual profit. If you can make that work for you.

Pete would ... not be keen with that idea, especially considering I'm still paying off my Burton + Elfman boxset. But dammit! Bladed ankh, like from The Hunger!

(I have an ankh just like that, but it has long since lost the sheath.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

But were you thinking of it as "PEA-can"

PEA-can.

Ah-ha! The StuntHusband pointed me at the FB of the jeweler who originally made that ankh design. Now to see if he answers his FB messages ...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went for another walk downtown. Came back. Still no exam scores.

Oh, and the scores that I'm waiting on: these are the final exam scores. The final exams were done on scantron, and are graded by machine, so those scores will be on a computer somewhere. This computer will print out the scores, and I will then, by hand, enter them into the online database where all the scores of all the assignments over the course of the semester are kept. I will then have this database average all these scores together. (The scantron computer already knows these scores, because, last week, I filled out a scantron for each student with their average score of non-exam work.) Once the database averages those scores, I will print them out, and then log on to a different database -- the one for semester grades -- and enter these average scores.

So, essentially, I am waiting to be able to enter two different lists of 55 numbers, because three computers cannot communicate lists of numbers with each other.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Day off. So I slept late, took the dog for a run in the woods, and have been bopping about the house doing laundry and scrubbing the bathroom. And listening to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I need to go to the grocery store and buy vegetables, but I'm feeling very lazy...
