We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

But were you thinking of it as "PEA-can"

PEA-can.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ah-ha! The StuntHusband pointed me at the FB of the jeweler who originally made that ankh design. Now to see if he answers his FB messages ...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went for another walk downtown. Came back. Still no exam scores.

Oh, and the scores that I'm waiting on: these are the final exam scores. The final exams were done on scantron, and are graded by machine, so those scores will be on a computer somewhere. This computer will print out the scores, and I will then, by hand, enter them into the online database where all the scores of all the assignments over the course of the semester are kept. I will then have this database average all these scores together. (The scantron computer already knows these scores, because, last week, I filled out a scantron for each student with their average score of non-exam work.) Once the database averages those scores, I will print them out, and then log on to a different database -- the one for semester grades -- and enter these average scores.

So, essentially, I am waiting to be able to enter two different lists of 55 numbers, because three computers cannot communicate lists of numbers with each other.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Day off. So I slept late, took the dog for a run in the woods, and have been bopping about the house doing laundry and scrubbing the bathroom. And listening to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I need to go to the grocery store and buy vegetables, but I'm feeling very lazy...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

More info on the end of the world (on May 21st):

This time, it’s for real, believers say: Doomsday coming this month.

This is news to me:

The end will come sometime around 6 p.m. on May 21 — not 6 p.m. California time or New York time or Hong Kong time. The world will end at 6 p.m. only when it is 6 p.m. locally, Camping said, citing his calculations. “People will see this coming to them from around the world,” he said. “It will follow the sun around.”

Also, only one guy in the world understands the calculations that concluded May 21st was the day the world ends.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope he dies May 21st.

I mean, for his own good. Anything else would be disappointing.

Well, the rest of us can point and laugh.

I hope there's videos or maybe a documentary. I want to see the reaction of the believers when the end doesn't come.

Thrive to spite them

On the way up to Vermont in some of the states (I'm not sure which ones) there were billboards about the world ending on May 21st. I think I saw around 4 of them so they are spending some money to get the word out.
