Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

hip deep in pie

Just popping in to say that there's no news on my dad...he's still resting comfortably. He just has to stay in ICU until they get a diagnosis.

Thanks for all the ma.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope they get one soon, Sue, and that it's something easy to cure.

Thanks for the update Sue, you guys are still in my thoughts.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Hi everyone!!

I've been on the ship just over two months now, which is crazy. I still love the job, but I am missing more and more normal internet access and being able to watch TV. Plus all week we've been in China but I couldn't afford the visa and so all my friends are at the Great Wall- and I'm on the ship. All day. Again. And despite hints dropped all over, I'm worried that no one is going to remember my birthday on Thursday, AND I had this stupid mental checklist from years ago of things I wanted out of life by 25 which I definitely have none of. So all in all not my best ship day ever, but I don't have anything legitimate to complain about, things are mostly fine =)

I wish I could drop by here more!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In case you can't come by Thursday, happy birthday, zuisa!

(I can't imagine being away from TV and internet for so long)

Because books.

That is hard, zuisa. But don't worry -- you've got plenty of time to do lots of great things, and even so, you're on a ship sailing all over the world right now!

I hope the birthday is a really happy one, with cake.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy soon-to-be birthday, zuisa. If it's any comfort, you're seeing far more of the world than I've managed to do in 16 more years.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Indeed, happy birthday, zuisa! I hope it's a lovely one, and if other folks fail to remember it, you should take charge and make it unforgettable anyway!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy early birthday to you, zuisa. May it be full of fun and laughter.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Many many advance happy birthday wishes, zuisa. Also, what Matt said about seeing more of the world before 25 than lots of Buffistas who are painfully older. And, as someone whose life, in some significantly wonderful ways, does not at all resemble where it seemed to be headed at 25, I promise you've got more ahead of you than you can even imagine.

Completely random note: a Google sponsored link recently coughed up a website from a random designer, and the deeper I wander into her catalogue, the more in love I fall. Aside from the godawful crazy prices.

Also, I think she needs to send one of everything she's ever designed to ita.
