Bev, I love that story about H and your face!

I'm glad you got out of it, ita.

That quiz was fun!

What did we put for food people argue about?

Barbecue. Also, ingredient in sauce? Vinegar.

Exactly.

I also put Paula Deen, but I totally should have put Mama Dip. Dammit.

Collards, check. Sweet tea as a "flavor," check. Butter as a pound cake ingredient, check.

Art Crawl!!!

So you were supposed to answer with southern things?

(I put point-to-point for places where you tailgate.)

Originally I put soy sauce for the thing you have with dumplings. I know what kind of dumplings I mean.

I don't have strong opinions about barbeque. Nowadays, everyone drinks iced tea all the time - so I answered Alaska for that question.

I don't actually know what is in barbeque sauce so I put molasses. I mean, it could be, right?

I mostly don't like seafood. The idea of seafood stuffing appalls.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go, Suzi! Get your freaking out done now so you can enjoy the date.

I like the soy sauce answer, sumi.

YAY DATE! Go, Suzi!

Lake Barkley area and out near Cadiz. Which is, to my great delight, pronounced KAY-dees.

The Cadiz in Ohio is pronounced CAD-is (like cad, he is such a...).

Getting the kids bed ready is stressful. As stressful as getting the kids school ready, but without the impending arrival of the bus, which does dial it up to 11.

Turnip greens

There are only two flavors of iced tea: sweet and unsweet.

Barbecue is probably the most argued about food in the country. There are plenty of arguments to be had over dressing, though, because proper dressing is made with corn bread.

I always order a chili burger, frosted orange and onion rings at The Variety.

I thought the cultures question was confusing. Southern food has a lot of African influences, but it's hard to point to cultures.
