Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ION, I just made nice pseudo-Shepherd's Pie for dinner, out of the pot roast I made yesterday. Is it weird that I'm not really interested in eating pot roast per se, but I'm all about the stuff you can do with the meat shreds?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but I'm all about the stuff you can do with the meat shreds?

Sometimes I'm that way about ham, and more looking forward to cooking the butt end down with potatoes and green beans.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...some kind of play on language.

"Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana." -- Groucho Marx

The Ark lands after the Flood and Noah lets all the animals out to repopulate the Earth. Time passes, and Noah decides to check up on the animals. All are doing fine except a pair of snakes. "What's the problem?" asks Noah. "Cut down some trees and let us live there," say the snakes. Noah obliges. More time passes, and when Noah checks on the snakes again there are lots of little snakes, and everybody is happy. Noah asks, "How did the trees help?" The snakes reply, "Well, we're adders, so we need logs to multiply."

Just popping in to say that there's no news on my dad...he's still resting comfortably. He just has to stay in ICU until they get a diagnosis.

Thanks for all the ma.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope they get one soon, Sue, and that it's something easy to cure.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Hi everyone!!

I've been on the ship just over two months now, which is crazy. I still love the job, but I am missing more and more normal internet access and being able to watch TV. Plus all week we've been in China but I couldn't afford the visa and so all my friends are at the Great Wall- and I'm on the ship. All day. Again. And despite hints dropped all over, I'm worried that no one is going to remember my birthday on Thursday, AND I had this stupid mental checklist from years ago of things I wanted out of life by 25 which I definitely have none of. So all in all not my best ship day ever, but I don't have anything legitimate to complain about, things are mostly fine =)

I wish I could drop by here more!
