I wanna live in sarameg's neighborhood!!
A very eventful day was had today. Sis and I went to her boss's bike race where we met up with a coworker who walked with Sis to the rest area with his Powerade and bananas. I couldn't keep up and had to turn back after only about a half mile walk (still much better than I was walking before though.
After a few hours relaxing at the house, we ran some errands which included a stop at the Fashion Outlet so she could return something at Ann Taylor. I caught some rays while she was shopping--yay!!
Then we parked at the Venetian, went to Madame Toussaud (had a blast!) Sephora (my first time there--spent too much), and then Rita Rudner (very amusing). After, it was dinner at an Irish pub near the house, where we had too much of the baked pretzels and not enough of the stew. Oh, well!
And Monday, I get to meet you! YAY
Definitely yay!!
But, the booze I've had today is making me very sleepy (first liquor since surgery--half a Bellini at Mario Batali's bar, and then a few sips of Smithwick), so it's off to bed with me!!
Damn, sounds like a good day!
I went pet-supply shopping, then looked at books in Borders (decided against any) and faffed around being intimidated about starting my penultimate project for the class. Less faffing, more productivity today.
I am waiting in the Richmond BART station for the first train of the day, which doesn't leave for another half hour. Forgot the schedule is different on Sundays.
Certainly tree sex is painful. It's gorgeous out there with everything blooming and green and spectacular. But it's ouchie too.
Yeah, I did a lot of nothing yesterday, when I should have been grading papers or working on lessons.
But all I could do was snuffle and be miserable.
Last day of spring break -- I got a lot done, but of course, a lot UNdone as well. Paper grading, lessons and research for me today!
At least I got grocery shopping out of the way, andit's kinda chilly, so I can stay inside and focus on grading and such.
Operation Spring Cleaning continues -- I just shredded or filed all of the paper floating around. Next, the bathroom! Woot. I realize I am basically doing the amount of cleaning a clean person would do every weekend, but it's significant for me...
I just found a Disney short y'all might've missed, from 1946 The Story of Menstruation. (It's a coproduction with Kotex.)

Ugh, but still WHOOOO
I need to get about 45 minutes of last minute stuff done, but then I am going to head out.
OMG. I swear that is the SAME movie they showed me in the 4th grade--IN 1980!!!!
