Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
There are diaperless days in your future, Kat.
I love everyone's pictures! And remembered that pictures of my most unfortunate phase are on facebook. Awesome.
I have to cook something today, but I can't decide if it's spaghetti sauce or chili. Hmmmmm.
chili! More options with chili, plus chili can be used with spaghetti.
So one of the only supports Grace qualifies for is diapers provided by a medical supply company (from the Regional Center who supports kids and adults with life long conditions). We haven't started getting them, but they are an off brand: [link] We have another month at least before the government diapers arrive. I'd really like for us to not need them.
Looks unlikely.
The phrase "government diapers" makes me laugh, sorry.
And I would never put chili on spaghetti! At home -- if I were in Cincy or similar, of course I would sample the local customs.
Eventing Nation has a picture of the naughty horse that tossed his rider and went running through the parade at the wedding yesterday.
First 'day' of the job ran 3 hours, because they didn't have the computer set up for me, the guy who actually shows me what to do isn't in until Tuesday, and my new manager was only in until 3 PM. So a bit of an anti-climax, but encouraging that I'll be treated OK if I can tolerate some messiness.
Also salving my expectations: I'll get paid more for those three hours than I would working for 12 hours at the grocery store. o.O
Woo, Theo!
I have no scanned baby pictures. But I too was a bald child. My grandma used to spit on my head to make the hair grow. (Heh, it worked! Heh.) Also, I would have bows taped my my head also for pictures.
Anyone have a link to the pix from the first F2F? I didn't have anything fancy like a digital camera, back in The Old Days. I don't even think any of us had texting when we had that party.
I know I had my sister's old blue Nokia. It had voice mail, and worked in Chicago. That's all I asked for.
Sea World in Ohio? It's closed!!
I know! It's tragic. It was my favoritest place to go ever ever. Once I was old enough to realize I had a choice, I elected to take my one closest friend on a trip to Sea World instead of have a party at home with many friends (hello, introversion, I have always been you) every year for my birthday. It's the friend just over cancer I went to visit this year, in fact!
When did it close? Would it still have been open in 1991 or so? I think that photo was the last time I ever went. I miss my dad being young and able to do stuff like that. Anyway, we loved it, we did, even more than Geauga Lake, which we also loved.
So I've cut way back on posting scary political news because it's depressing, but I've decided to make an exception.
How scary is it that the person now leading in the polls for the Republican nomination for president (Trump) is openly advocating invading other countries and taking their oil?

If he wins the nomination, I hope a majority of Americans will realize he's batshit insane. (Wait, which is more crazy: batshit or bugfuck?)
Blrgh. I was supposed to be spending the day slounging and reading fic while I did laundry, but now it looks like I'm going to be working while I do laundry instead.
At least I don't need to go in to work though.

Guano has commercial value, so I'm going wih bugfuck. 'Cause really, not only do you have to have one seriously messed up private life to go for that, but I'm seeing a certain level of obsessiveness in figuring how to make it even work.
