Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The wedding was brought up in our all-IT meeting in order to say that we weren't going to talk about it. We're very cool like that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, we (I) can't stop talking about it here!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We haven't talked about it here, except to note our clients in London have a four-day weekend.

Several of my coworkers are getting together for Chinese takeout, cocktails, and knitting over the Tivoed wedding tonight. At least two people took the day off for the wedding (in their defense, one is British and the other is both married to a brit and has a sort of Martha Stewart complex. Okay, maybe that wasn't a defense.)

We are talking about it here too. Mostly becasue we are jealous that the London office gets a 4-day bank holiday. Man, we want a 4-day weekend too!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It did have a bit of a Family Revenge feel to it, didn't it?

I think those outfits were carefully crafted to be just eccentric enough to act like an icy stab to the Royals' sense of decorum without being so outré that any of them could openly complain.

Both the SF and Palo Alto offices are having a high tea this afternoon, in honor of the wedding

Dude! So unfair! My employers would never do anything like that. For, um, good reason. Still, a nice tea with scones and tiny sandwiches sounds lovely.

... which might mean it's time for me to go get some coffee.
