Hey, Steph, when you come by, can you recommend an actual book on shibari or kinbaku? I despair of ever finding a non-sexual class/workshop (unless you have leads for me too--everything google turns up is decidedly on the erotic side).

I've seen these titles, but don't even know if they're the best ones to consider:

• Shibari You Can Use. Looks accessible, but then again, erotic macrame?
• Bondage for Sex. Started the search. Although I don't want smut in my classes, I'm okay with it in the books.
• Showing You The Ropes--Here are your Knotty Boys. Good?
• Back On The Ropes. Them again. What's different about this book?
• The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage. Now's the time I'd really like to leaf through the book to see what the angle is. Not even a blurb on bn.com.

I love luna moths.

Me, too. I saw one just out of its cocoon, drying its wings, at the Botanical Gardens last month.

I just texted my boss that I thought my ride was running late. . . because I thought it was an hour later than it is. . .because when I heard the time I thought that it was 7:19 when it was only 6:19.

All day meetings for the next 3 days. Send help.

We're bracing for incredible weather today - worst of it overnight. The weather people have their hyperbole on, but the statistical odds of a tornado in many places are, as one guy put it, "absurd." It should be worse in Atlanta than here, and worst in North Alabama.

Blerg. My brother's in B'ham. I'm hoping the crazy hilly nature of that area protects them some.

And it's supposed to be sunny, 70, and slight chance of t-storms around here - the weather is getting uneven all over the place. My personal theory is that God is mad at Paul Ryan.

I have to get dressed, eat Something, and drive off to meet the recruiter and Sign Papers to take the contract job. Still more than a bit shell-shocked, though that may be partly from the muscle relaxant I took to calm down enough to sleep last night.
